Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Airport or your hotel in Phnom Penh, you will be met by your private driver. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh – Cardamom Mountains (B/D)
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and take you towards Botum Sakor National Park in southwestern Cambodia. Upon arrival at the Cardamom Tented Camp, enjoy a boat ride along the Preak Tachan River before settling into your comfortable tent. In the afternoon, you can choose from a range of activities, including a jungle hike, swimming in the river, kayaking or ziplining. In the evening, enjoy dinner by the river while watching the sunset over the Cardamom Mountains. Overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp.
Day 3: Cardamom Mountains – Jungle & Wildlife (B/L/D)
Today, enjoy an active day surrounded by the pristine nature of the Cardamom Mountains. Explore the dense jungle on foot and by kayak, and visit a former ranger station. Afterwards, return to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you can continue exploring the surroundings by kayaking, swimming or hiking. With a little luck, you may spot gibbons and smooth-coated otters along the way. Overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp.
Day 4: Jungle Exploration & Riverside Relaxation (B/L/D)
After breakfast, embark on another hike through a remote section of the forest and discover the fascinating flora and fauna of the national park. After lunch at the camp, the afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your own pace. Whether kayaking, hiking or taking a refreshing swim in the river, you can choose how to spend your afternoon. In the evening, enjoy dinner under the stars and soak up the unique atmosphere of the jungle. Overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp.
Day 5: Cardamom Mountains – Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Cardamom Mountains and travel back to Phnom Penh. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you will be transferred to the airport for your next flight or to Phnom Penh city centre for further exploration at your own leisure.
