Denizli is an industrial city located at the eastern end of the alluvial valley formed by the Büyük Menderes River, where the plain reaches a height of a hundred meters, southwest of Turkey, in the Aegean Region. Denizli also has a tourist attraction: the thermal waters of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis, as well as the ruins of the city of Laodicea, the former metropolis of Phrygia. Near Honaz, 15 km west of Denizli, you will find what in the 1st century BC. C. was the city of Colosse.
