Cha Am Thailand

The beach resort on the west coast of the Gulf of Siam is for a rather quiet beach holiday. A trip from Bangkok takes only 3 to 4 hours (about 180 km in a south-westerly direction), especially on the weekends also local families enjoy the advantages of the region. The balanced climate with a less pronounced summer rainy season makes Cha-Am a year-round destination. There are fine and wide beaches, but the sea is not always clear in the coastal area, jellyfish can occur. In the small town, country-style restaurants serve fresh seafood and Thai cuisine, for the daily needs there are small shops and supermarkets.
